In another thread sukmydirk said I had an axe to grind regarding Jason Kidd. In that thread the answer was false. I was simply comparing Chris Paul's wanting out of New Orleans to Jason Kidd wanting out of New Jersey. I understand why both guys wanted out.
Well if suk wants to accuse me of axe-grinding, then here it is! Have at it suk, this is my official Jason Kidd axe-grinding thread. Dispute it if you want, but it's pretty damning evidence.

So what does all of this mean? Every playoff team (Phoenix or Dallas) not run by Jason Kidd won at least 50% of their playoff series. Jason Kidd led Western Conference Playoff teams have won 20% of their playoff series. 75% (6 of 8) Jason Kidd Western Conference Playoff teams have lost in the 1st round. 9 of 12 non-Jason Kidd led Western Conference Playoff teams have at least won the first round playoff series.
Jason Kidd had a nice playoff run in perhaps the weakest era of the Eastern Conference ever. When the East began getting better the Nets began to flounder. I'm not going to discredit what Kidd did in the East because it's not his fault the competition sucked, but when he's had to face playoff competition in the much stronger Western Conference he has failed to lead his team out of the first round time and time again. Many people here claim he is the greatest PG of All Time, at least the greatest of his era, but when facing the best competition the NBA can offer he has failed.
So defend his Western Conference Playoff Record if you can.
There you go, my official "Jason Kidd axe-to-grind".
