It's always bad when you miss preseason but Howard has been there done that an I'm confident he will slip right in and go. Thomas' ability to get back into a situation were he is contributing has me more worried but not really so much now that Hump is stepping up his game. Roddy can play the 2 as well as Terry and may steal PT from him as well as JJB. I like what JJB has given us but if Roddy does it just as well and he can D up better which I think is a given after last nights performance of 4 steals.

Jawai may be out of shape worse than we thought to not get in the first 2 games. I would personally make him run his a$$ off if that is the case and send him to the NBDL for some conditioning after the season starts. Top 13 on the team is set Carroll is 14th then either Jake or Jawai. Jawai is pure upside and that is what the 15th spot is for. You can only carry 12 people to play in a game so the 13th and 14th are for those emergency spots and the 15th is a development player.

2Howard Extremely important to this teams play off chances and will step this team up to elite status when he returns 67 games might be possible if this team stays healthy

3Marion 2b to Howards 2a and a key to our season

4Kidd Roddy could be a better backup that moves kidd to the SG a lot on D. against faster PG's

5Terry Terry should be worried about losing PT to Roddy if he can't start games off hot more consistantly

6Gooden Haywood was a bigger 5 and I was surprised Carlisle started him instead of Dampier

11JJB if he falls to the 3rd PG spot and Roddy develops then both he and Terry are soon to be expendable. That Roddy has been this good has me looking forward to Donnies other pick last draft. Nick Calathes might be a pure PG but one that is big.

12Thomas lucky if he has any PT available when he gets back

13th Singleton unfortunately for him he is going to fall here if Thomas comes back and can play effectively anywere near last seasons level Hump has outplayed him significantly and is bigger and just as active and seems to have a better BBIQ. He really needs to take advantage of this time that Thomas is out

14th Carroll I think it's nice how we have been giving him PT to showcase him. I want him to do better so we can trade him.

15th Jake is old so Jawai will probably be safe here but I could be mistaken. Cuban is not afraid of cutting out small contracts and might if he thinks that Jake is better and can serve a need that Jawai cannot.
