He sounded really pumped he said he thinks this team is better than the finals team. Said the players that were on that finals team told him that & said they were extremely excited this camp. Said this is the best 12 players on the roster he's seen since being the owner. Said just about every player he has on the roster has a high iq & can play defense. He even said players would come up to him and give him high fives and tell em how much they love this team.

I agree. I hope it's true....but I know I am excited. To give a hint at the level of excitement, I watched the MNF game only during the commercials of
the first half of a Mavs preseason game.

I did not even watch MNF I was so excited. I think we will be solid this year. I am curious to see what the effect of Marion and Howard would have been on that
game. I think we would have won but i cannot be for sure, because of the amount of threes that the Magic hit.

I watched the entire preseason game as well. Cuban is right about one thing. You can see the spark in the players this year. A big one.

I agree, I didn't watch Football either. I was too into this game. The players played with alot of energy and you could see it. I'm cautiously

As everyone here has mentioned - that spark that had been absent for awhile was certainly burning. From my fan perspective (with my only true insight coming
from sites like this one) and what I see in pictures and footage, including last night's game, it appears that the players finally have the confidence that
they can play with anyone....which is something that has been missing since the Golden State series (and perhaps even entering that series - as I feel the team
and Avery tightened up as soon as the playoffs began that year)..

he said the same crap he does before each season. hes/the teams excited, blah blah blah. i just hope he trully realizes he doesent have enough to beat the
lakers. when asked about moves for 2010, he said to the effect of, "We love what we have". great, he we go again.

I too watched the WHOLE game. Although I was super disappointed to find out the Matrix wasn't playing. Can't wait to see him and JHo play together.
Drew Gooden was as good as I expected, although it seems there a lot of ppl who were against this signing, I expect them to just on the Gooden bandwagon after

Gooden's no miracle fix, but he brings a new dimension and he didn't look overmatched at the 5 like a lot of people were worried he would be. Looked
like he belonged there, sometimes things were confused, but it's early and remember, the starting 5 aren't there yet. I buy Cuban's optimism,
it's not just marketing this year.
