Just waived two guys (linton johnson/andre brown) to open up roster spots.
They have been involved in trade rumors since the off-season. The Mavs have been involved in trade rumors lately.
Larry Brown has said he would like a big man. The 'Cats were in love with Diop this off-season.
Stack is from North Carolina.

Will mikejoeb get his wish? Are the Mavs involved?

I feel a Stack trade coming and us getting Felton in return. It's clear after last night that the Bobcats need to make some drastic moves and with D.J. Augustine ready to bust out it's a good move for them to clear more cap space and turns towards the future. The Mavs would benefit because they can't compete for the playoffs with JJB as the backup, that's very clear, he's a good spark plug but nothing more than that. I wonder if there would be filler though? Diop was coveted by them, but I don't think MJ would give up J-Rich or Wallace for a Stack/Diop package.

man, this is what i hate about this site. i read posts like the one above and start getting excited. only to be let down, by our GM who loves our team. i hope there is a glimmer of truth to any of these stories. i'll be a truly truly happy man.

i dont know that its even possible with regards to trade-rules, etc.

but ive just got this recurring vision of stack in silver and black hitting clutch Bowen-esque 3's for the Spurs. against the mavs. in the playoffs. this season.

Why would the spurs want a guy that has less left than Michael Finley..FYI Spurs arent in a hurry to get older, there like the Mavs giving younger guys time
