Canada spends much of their time attacking our candidates and following our election. 2. Was it 6 thousand foreign press people that attended our conventions? 3. The Blondbomber shows up from Germany to criticize our VP debate? Please, if we're not the big dog, numero uno in the world, nobody would care. Just like we could care less who is elected anywhere else. Sure we get the news from it and might kick it around from time to time. America is the best. But the fact of the matter is, the last 8 years has made us LOOK like the worst. Bush's regime has given off the impression to other nations that we're nothing more than a bunch of Conservative rednecks from the South who don't even know how to read or tie our shoes. 8 years is a LONG time. People who are 18 now and just getting to College were 10 years old when Bush first took office. The only thing they've known since they were a little kids is Conservative redneck Republicans starting wars with catchphrases like, "Bring it on!" and it makes this country look like a joke. Our superpower is slipping to nations like China and India. We're not going to be the best for much longer unless we make CHANGE happen. "What does the C on your jersey stand for? We have lost our statesmen, all that is left are morally hollow politicians who are not fit to sit in the same office as Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, and Adams. The thing that made this country great was the people of great ideals and great courage. The people who spoke out about the wrongs and then took action. Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, Samuel Adams. People who gave their lives for our liberty. People who took their savings and opened that shop on main street. The nurse in the hospital that cared for the sick, the doctor who accepted chickens to pay for delivering a child. The people who build each other up. The great scientists and engineers, Ford, Carver, Edison. What made this country great were the people. Nah............I do remember Clinton's first 2 years it look worse than Bush's first few. It looked like the Beverly Hillbilly's moved to DC. He started free falling in popularity and fixed it. I can show you democrats that are as big a rednecks as you have ever seen working in factories and unions across the land. This is the most important election of our time! 2. Why can't we just talk about the issues instead of the attacks? 3. Whoever is in office is a stupid failure. 4. My candidate won the debate. 5. Why can't we just get along. 6. Your a war monger. 7. We're killing women and children. 8. Your starving the poor. 9. Your killing the old people. 10. You want to reverse Roe vs. Wade. 11. Unions are bad. 12. Unions are good. 13. Our education system sucks. The truth of the matter is most wedge issues are just that, wedge issues. Designed to fire up a base. The people firing them up RARELY, do what they say they will. This is the truth and it will most likely never change. In 4 or 8 years you will hear exactly the same. the person getting beat up will say let's talk about the issues!

Fellow Idiot Posts: 99 (10/07/08 12:20) DB Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	With the kind of enormous trade and budget deficits, "free market" disaster apparent on the Wall Street, horrendous policy decisions and a complete degeneration of a society which now rewards thieves in broad daylight, believes in creationism and wastes half of its time in discussing abortion and gay rights, this "greatest" entitlement will be lost faster than you think. Of course America is number 1, but that's because we have placed our military at strategic oil reserves and because dollar is STILL the world's reserve currency. Getting our debts to pay off by our own money by printing more of it is really great. But the world is watching the recklessness with which we are destroying our currency, economy and sanctity. It's a matter of time before China and Russia catch up. Leave this country to corrupt banksters on Wall Street who produce absolutely nothing and bring disaster after disaster, we will soon become a third world nation.
