I watched the Saints/Falcons game Monday and all I heard was how great Drew Brees was..Together they said Brees was head and shoulder ahead of all the other QB'S in the NFC..

Well that go me thinking..Brees and Romo both came on in 2006..Brees came from San Diego and Romo from the bench..

Okay TB signed Mike Mickens off of the Cowboys Practice Squad.

To me this is a real gray area, I have never understood how this program works. These guys are even refered to as the scout team sometimes. Like when McGee was asked have you been working out, he said "yeah with the scout team"

Kevin Oogletree got in some plays against and I liked what I saw just. He played great in the preseason and I think this kid deserves some more reps, maybe the cows could run some 4 wide sets or he and crayton could alternate the slot. Also, why is T Choice not getting any carries? In my opinion he'd be good enough to start for more than a handful of teams. Got to utilize his talent.

for not drafting Merriman over Ware, for taking Felix Jones other than trading up to get Darren McFadden, and for passing on Brady Quinn.......yeah he's not the best GM by any means. Im especially pissed he refuses to draft a receiver in the early rounds.....such as Randy Moss, DeSean Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Mario Mannigham, Johnny Knox and many others....oh well. He ain't the greatest but he definitely ain't the worst either

who do you think has contributed the most so far to the cows 5-2 season? I'd have to go with either Miles Austin emerging as the #1 receiver, Tony Romo and his 3 straight games without an interception(man he's really adjusted his game and it shows), or Keith Brooking. Not only has he been great on the field, but has emerged as the vocal leader on defense. Great free agent acquisition.
My number one would be Austin. His numbers speak for themselves......and the thing I love most...

Cowboys VS Seattle

Well if I'm lucky some Cowboy fans will want to stop by and talk some football

Cowboys need to win the games they are supposed to win. Seattle has shown some attitude in a couple of games this year. Jones even had a hundred yards rushing in a game. But honestly even with a week off this team is in disarray. They are now trying their 4th OL lineup this season. If we don't have a field day rushing the QB then something is wrong.

I don't see why Fisher is so stuck on Collins. The guy had a great year last year, but has just sucked all this year. They are off to the worst start with Fisher as coach, which is pretty much the worst start in the franchise, and he is still stuck on Collins. The man is old. He is not going to be your QB of the future, not the next two years. They know what they have in Young, they played him for two years. However, they need to see if him sitting on the bench and watching Collins has...

NFL Uncapped Season Talk

Just share any thoughts you're having about this upcoming season. I won't pretend to be an expert on how all of this works (CBA) but from what I understand, the NFL will have an uncapped season for the year 2010, which means Owners can basically pay their players whatever they need to.
Obviously I don't plan on seeing owners do anything too crazy because in the long run it could hurt and create salary cap issues in the future. but I'm pretty sure there are going to be a...

Am I the only one that is pretty shocked we won that game. Especially after the opening quarter 80 yard drive of Atlanta where the D had no answer. I think that is an encouraging game, and also will be huge when playoff seedings are available. I just hope we can beat the NFC East teams.
