With both Josh Childress and Josh Smith free agents, I doubt both wind up back with Atlanta. The Hawks don't want to pay more than the cap, and definitely not the luxury tax. If Smith gets an $11-13 million deal and they match, I doubt they also match Childress if he gets a full MLE deal.

Could be something to consider if Diop is S/T.

Philadelphia is close to a deal which would send Rodney Carney and a future first round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a trade designed to free more cap space, the Associated Press is reporting.

The 76ers will throw in reserve forward Calvin Booth, but are working out the particulars of what they will get back from Minnesota.
